How Rounds Work

  • <15 Straight to the final — no qualifying round needed.
  • 15–40 A first round decides the field, with the top 10 competitors advancing to the final.
  • 40+ First round, then a second round (top 40%), then a final (top 50% of those).
On the Floor
Groups & Stations
Competitors are split into heats of 6–8 and run through 8 timing stations at a time.
Judges & Scramblers
Staffed by volunteers from the higher grades, briefed ahead of the day.
Runners
Selected at random from competitors, rotating every 3 groups.
