FKS Cubing Open 2026

Group Structure: Participants will be divided into groups of 6 or 8 depending on the total number of participants.
Age Divisions: All participants are categorized into two age groups: Grades 6 & 7 and Grades 8 & 9.
Round Progression Rules:
- Under 15 participants: Direct entry to the Final Round.
- 15 – 40 participants: 1st Round held, top 10 qualify for the Final Round.
- Over 40 participants: 3-stage progression — 1st Round top 40% advance to 2nd Round, then top 8 partcipants will progress to the knockout finals.

Equipment: Timers, mats, and cube covers provided by Deccan Cubing.
Judges & Scramblers: Volunteer students from higher grades.
Runners: Randomly selected participants working on a rotational basis.
Briefing: Participants will be instructed on all rules via a thorough briefing video.

There will be a cash prize for both age groups:
- Grade 6-7: Junior
- Grade 8-9: Senior

Note:	Schedule depends upon total amount of participants. This is only a tentative schedule.

Arrival: Participants must show up 30 minutes early to their events. Latecomers will be disqualified.
Refunds: Strict no refunds on registration fees.
On-spot Registration: On-spot registrations will not be accepted.
Rules: Participants must be familiar with the WCA regulations as just an extra precaution.
Hardware: Participants must bring their own cubes. if a cube is damaged, the participant must borrow a cube from another person.
